  • SALES MANAGER

    Taylor has been with our RISE team for almost a year now, getting involved in the fitness industry at a young age playing baseball and even rowing through high school. Growing up in Northern VA, he graduated from JMU with a degree in exercise science. He loves traditional weight lifting mixed with some cardio, the basics work best! His favorite part about RISE is the sense of community that engulfs both the staff and the members. Outside of the gym, he’s a huge movie/tv nerd and on his off days, you can find him running on the boardwalk in his Sopranos hoodie, “Fuhgetaboutit”.

  • CLUB MANAGER

    Tyrice was born and raised in the Delaware area, and journeyed all the way to Arizona State University to study sociology. He joined RISE in 2018 as a member, and officially joined our team in August of 2023. He loves lifts that target his core, such as the kettlebell march, deadbug pullover, and pallof press. He is an avid reader, writer, and huge fan of Penn State wrestling and Philly sports. Go birds!

  • Cathleen Lutz

    ISSA MASTER TRAINER & PRECISION NUTRITIONIST

    On top of being our Head Trainer at RISE, Cathleen has a cycling, TRX, and pilates master certification. She has a background in rehabilitation, which bolsters the way she trains. She loves helping members gain muscle, retain movement, and achieve their goals. She focuses heavily on fundamentals such as breath work while training. Cathleen also works hand in hand with the Sussex County Parkinsons Foundation as a lead group instructor, and loves the community that attends RISE.

  • Joey O'Connell

    ISSA CERTIFIED MASTER TRAINER

    Joey has been with RISE for over 4 years. He started working in a physical therapy clinic and was there for 7 years before coming to RISE. He gained a ton of knowledge from the therapists in my time there and gained an eye for spotting mechanical errors in form and posture. His favorite clients to work with are the ones that are willing and dedicated in becoming a better version of themselves. Joey’s passion is in building strength along with a great physique for his clients.

    As a young adult, when he started his fitness journey, injuries and lack of results became frustrating. It wasn't until he worked with a trainer himself teaching him how to lift properly that the addiction kicked in.


    Fun Fact: Joey is from Smyrna, Delaware, and his favorite lift is deadlifts! “The king of all lifts! There’s just something so rewarding about lifting big weights and pushing your limits and going beyond what you think you’d never be able to lift.”

  • Kelley Harp

    MASTER TRAINER

    Kelley is a certified fitness trainer with over 13 years of experience helping clients achieve their fitness goals. She specializes in creating personalized workout plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Whether you are looking to lose weight, build muscle or simply improve your overall health and fitness, Kelly is here to help you every step of the way!

  • Marisol Mertz

    ISSA CERTIFIED MASTER TRAINER AND NUTRITION COACH

    Marisol was practically raised in the gym, spending her childhood in the gym and running with her father in Peru. She’s always been fascinated by the strong bond between food and human performance, which led her to become a certified fitness nutrition specialist and personal trainer. She has over 15 years of training in the field.

    Marisol specializes in sports and preformance nutrition, endurance event training, and senior fitness training.

  • Cassandra Parker

    ISSA CERTIFIED MASTER TRAINER / GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

    Cassandra has been with RISE for over 8 years! She brings an amazing amount of energy, professionalism, and challenges to those who want to become the healthiest version of themselves. She incorporates mobility, balance, and strength training into her sessions and focuses on the entire body to operate in unison.

    Cassandra is also trained and certified in PWR (Parkinson's Wellness and Recovery). PWR is a program offered at RISE to promote self well being, movement, and recovery, as well as working as a group. Cassandra is one of our widely loved group leaders, and brings her natural caring persona to these sessions, leaving all feeling engaged, challenged, and having a sense of purpose (with a little fun thrown in, of course!).

  • Cameron Horn

    ISSA CERTIFIED TRAINER AND NUTRITIONIST

    Cameron is a local to the Delaware beaches with a passion for training, obtaining his ISSA CPT, Nutrition, and Strength and Conditioning certifications. He has been instructing classes with RISE for years, and has a background training athletes on strength and agility, ranging from middle school to college level. Watching his dad workout in RISE and toss heavy weight all through his life, Cameron developed a passion for strength training while maintaining a lean figure.
